on the subject of mathematics
1) for my own (and i guess for others') remembrance and use: Online Mathematics Textbooks
2) today during my number theory midterm i learned to never give up when you still have time. when starting the test of 4 questions i got problem 3 and most of 4 right off the bat but i was completely lost on 1 and 2. but just by staring at the problem for minutes after minutes i finally got them. i went from probably failing the class to getting a rather good grade (i think) in a matter of like 30 minutes. i'm rather happy with myself
